# Interested in owning a plant/plants, preferably something indoor…

Interested in owning a plant/plants, preferably something indoor friendly that doesn’t need a lot of upkeep and isn’t toxic to animals as I’m usually gone at work around half the day. Anything specific come to mind?

Hoya are pet friendly and easy to care for. You can also check out peperomias 🙂

I would try a ZZ plant. As easy as a snake plant but much more attractive.

Spider plants are also pretty easy.

Warning: if you have cats they might tear the whole thing up, apparently even tho they're safe it makes them slightly high🤣

I’m in a similar boat! But I’ve already gone overboard with the plants even though I’m fairly new with it, lol. ZZ is toxic, but I have one and keep it out of reach and also where if a leaf falls, no one will get it. Calatheas and Hoyas are my go to. Not toxic and seem to be easy, I will say though that I just found spider mites on one of my Calatheas, so there’s that… Oh! Pony Tail Palm and Cast Iron plant too. 4 dogs and a cat. I’m very careful. I’d love to get Pothos because everything says they’re so easy, but they always seem to say toxic.
