Ordered this Calathea starter online and have had it for about 3 weeks. Tips are starting to curl and turn yellow/brown. Any tips?? Cracks in the sides were there when I got it.

it needs more humidity

Could be too much sun or not humid enough, I just pull mine out of the sun when the window it’s sitting in gets full sun. As for humidity, I put mine on the counter when I shower.

The cracking is due to low humidity, calatheas like humidity levels above 60% and don’t like tap water.

I’ll second that these are very picky about water.
