# I forgot I had taken this pic of this monster of a dracaena fragrans…

I forgot I had taken this pic of this monster of a dracaena fragrans on my family’s property in Jamaica last year. I just found it while going through photos from that trip. My mom had calculated that it’s probably over 100-200 years old 🤪.

I have the exact same one as an indoor plant, but of course it doesn’t look anything close to this 😂.

For perspective, I took this pic from a road behind the property that slopes upward, so the top of the fence you see in the pic is already about 10-15 feet above the yard below. The tree was absolutely massive.

Wow I didn’t know you could plant outside. I live in Florida do you think it would survive?

I’m not sure but if I lived in Florida I’d have probably tried already 😂. You just need to make sure your plant is slowly acclimatized to the outdoor sunlight first or the leaves will burn.
