# I went to Walmart yesterday looking at the alocaias and a worker…

I went to Walmart yesterday looking at the alocaias and a worker there who has seen me there a few times walks up to me with a single stem (this one) and said I could take it since someone took the pot it was in lol. It had the worlds tiniest roots. Should I cut it down? Also this had buggy’s that I killed off so the leaf is sad :/

Keep the leaf for photosynthesis until you get replacements that can take over the work. Add rooting hormone powder around the stem to help generate new roots.
