Zone 10 - I planted a few Dahlia bulbs and no action yet. Any suggestions or am I just being impatient? It’s my first go at bulbs 🤷🏼‍♀️ I started them in a container 3 weeks ago, approximately.

Dahlias are considered a tuber not a bulb and depending on how cold it is the soil should be 60 degrees when you plant them. I'm in the Seattle area and I don't start mine till around the first of May if they are in pots in my garage or the end of May if I put them outside. Hope this helped.

Thank you, this does. I did plant them in that temp zone - I am in FL but still haven’t seen any movement with them 🤷🏼‍♀️

It can take several weeks to see any growth. If they aren't getting a lot of bright light it will take longer. They also like a bit of a wake up in a warm room before you plant them. But I also live in WA where its much colder.
