Has anyone figured out how to get big leaves on string of hearts (or other string-of plants)? I used to get 1-2” hearts but after I trimmed her several months back I’ve gotten max dime-sized leaves. I’m sure being farther up the vine helps, but I haven’t been able to replicate the larger size with my props, either.

I’m having the worst time getting my camera to focus but you get the idea. My old leaves mostly looked like the larger and now they’ve all switched to the smaller on the node right below.

Hi! So disclaimer I’m not the best at string of plants especially hearts lol. But I’ve heard and read, for any plant really, that if the leaves are getting smaller it could mean a few things. Either the roots are taking up a lot of real estate and it needs to be repotted, or it wants some fertilizer if all the nutrients in the soil has been depleted, or it might like some more light exposure. Hopefully that helps!

Also not an expert but I was thinking maybe fertilizer too.
