Myth-busting Monday! What is a myth you believed when you first became a plant parent?

From Tove, Planta Co-Founder, “If you remember to water - your plant will live forever (no matter if you place it in the darkest corner of your home and the plant thrives in full sun). Note! This was BEFORE and BECAUSE Planta came to life ”

I feel bad to what happened to her plant, but I’m glad it did! 🙌🏻🌿💚

I really thought I should be able to grow all kinds of things indoors without lights, that somehow grow lights weren't necessary or even all that great. When I look at that opinion now, I hardly think it's possible it was ever mine. I love my grow lights. I love being able to put plants wherever I want, and I love finding creative ways to set up my lights. I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on a vertical light so I cable-tied a barrina t5 to an old chemistry stand I got for free... It works perfectly, takes up less space (the base of the chemistry stand is small but heavy), and only cost about $13 for the light itself. I can't believe I was ever against this haha
