Can anyone help me identify this plant? I got it on clearance as a rescue plant, I’ve had to cut back all but one leaf and I have a new leaf coming in but have no clue what kind plant it is so I’m unsure if I’m giving the proper care for it.

Google AI seems to think an Alocasia Macrorrhizos “Giant Taro”

Not sure if correct, but maybe more people in community can help! 🪴

That’s my first thought that it’s Alocasia macrorrhizos, It’s Not a bat wing, completely different shape leafs

It may be a bat wing alocasia - I have one that looks very similar. Either way, it’s care will follow that of most Alocasias
