This is my arrowhead plant, Syngonium podophyllum, ‘Three Kings’. I have another arrowhead plant, and its growth pattern is rather short, and very bushy…quite pretty! My Three Kings, however, is like the plant in the ‘Jack And The Beanstalk’ story; it’s growing very fast, very tall, and is quite skinny. I’m not sure what to do with this plant. If anyone has one of these plants, can you let me know about your experience with it, and what I can look forward to. TIA for any comments. 🤗💚🪴

I have a few, I have not seen one grow vertically like that, I love it! I hope you find the right guidance!

I looked at your profile to see pictures of your arrowhead plants, but your profile is private… darn it; I’d really love to see your other arrowhead plants. But, thanks so much for your post… Happy arrowheading!

I had to put stakes in my syngonium. If yours starts to fall downward then put stakes to hold it up

I have used stakes, but she is out growing them! Do you know how tall this plant will get? The way she’s growing, I will have to order a special “ceiling stake”, 😉!

Syngoniums are climbing vines in their native environment. Give it a moss pole if you want to keep it upright. They need structure to grab onto with their aerial roots. They will mature and split their leaves from 3 to 9 lobes.

You can let them dangle with several plants in a pot or hanging basket.

Your plant has gotten inconsistent lighting. The nodes are close together on some sections when it’s getting enough light and apart at other sections when it’s reaching for light. I recommend propagating cuttings from it to create a fuller pot with several plants. They easily propagate as shown in my photo. 🍀🪴
