Does anyone know what plant this is I’ve been trying but I don’t know what it is.

(Yes I know it’s a bit sick I’m trying to figure out what it is before I can fix it😢).

Kinda looks like a dwarf pineapple plant to me.

I have one I water it about once every 3-4 weeks, mine did not like direct light. Got some dry spots when the sun hit it. Make sure the bottom pockets where the leaves meet in the center have water in them and my humidity is about 50-60% hope any of this info helps! They’re really cool plants

I have one of these! I can’t tell from the photo if it is time or not but it looks similar to my bromeliad. These guys only flower once and they will produce pups (I think 2-3 normally but I’m not quite sure). After that the mother plant starts to die off and won’t come back. At that point it’s time to split the pups off and repot them!

Thank you. That sounds a bit difficult but I give it a go!
