Are you using filtered water? How is your humidity?

From my experience, my maranta will get some crispy brown tips during the cold months because of the drier air from running the heat. They will be better when the weather is warmer and there’s higher ambient humidity in your house. If you want you can run a humidifier by it. Agree with Amie, I use a water conditioner with each watering as they are sensitive to chemicals and minerals in tap water.

I was having the same problem from lack of humidity. I put them on pebble trays and they are doing great now.🙂

How much does it dry out in between waterings? I agree about increasing humidity and that using distilled water instead of tap water can help prevent brown leaf tips on prayer plants, but you still have to make sure it’s not drying out too much in between waterings.
