# I have a Black Bat plant that hasn't been doing well for at least a…

I have a Black Bat plant that hasn't been doing well for at least a year. When I bought it, it was full of luscious leaves. Then they started to brown and die off. But I kept working on it to try to get it back. Every time since then, only a set of 2 leaves grow. Within a week they start to brown and wither. I've moved it a couple of times trying to find the sweet spot for it to grow. Does anyone know anything about this plant and what I'm doing wrong? I'd appreciate any advice you could give me. The window is just above it and I've already had to remove one leaf.

Have you unpotted it to check the roots? They should have bright indirect light, I'd say provably 12hrs. And I've only seen them do well in a cloche or greenhouse/terrarium with heat, from the lights or a mat

I've repotted the plant into a bigger pot. It's in my sunroom but not close to the windows. Same thing with the app, I put that room under full sun which it gets half the day. The app alerted almost every plant. So now I set it at part sun. That part of the app must have a glitch in it.

It may need more light if it's only getting like 7hrs or so of light. And more humidity
