Both! I water in dish pans, let ‘em sit \& absorb for a while, then drain, then return to home base. 🫡

Almost strictly bottom watering. The only exceptions are if I’m trying to root something at the top of the soil or I feel like it’s “too” dry at the top.

I have a lot of self bottom water pots and I top water the rest

Both depends on the plant honestly for my orchids. Definitely bottom watering because they are divas.

Bottom watering is a great option for calatheas!

During winter or when a lot of plants need watering I bottom water. During the spring and summer I water from the top
