# We have been discussing our favorite spring bulbs for some time now…

We have been discussing our favorite spring bulbs for some time now and here they are, but we would love to see and read about your favorites as well! Got a cute little flower sticking up in the planters somewhere? Or an old photo of when the spring bulbs grew all over the place? Time to share some spring feelings in the comment section! 🌷 and here are our favorites as well:

"Crocuses are some of the most beloved spring flowers in the garden. They bloom in a range of vibrant purples, oranges, and yellows to delicate whites, pinks, and blues, as well as multicolored and striped patterns. Reminding us that spring's promises are just around the corner. These low-maintenance garden plants offer a feast for the eyes and an important early food source for bumblebees." - Anton

"Botanical tulips, include both wild species and lightly hybridized varieties, offer a natural, wildflower-like beauty. Smaller and more delicate than traditional hybrids, they bloom early in spring and return year after year, naturalizing over time. Hardy and low-maintenance, they thrive in well-draining soil and full sun, making them perfect for borders and rock gardens. Plant once, and enjoy their vibrant charm season after season." - Elin

"Scilla, a genus of charming spring-blooming bulbs, brings a touch of wild beauty to gardens and natural landscapes. From the vivid blue hues of Scilla siberica to the delicate starry blooms of Scilla bifolia, these resilient flowers thrive in woodlands, rock gardens, and meadows. Naturalizing with ease, they return year after year, forming carpets of color that signal the arrival of spring. Hardy and low-maintenance, Scilla flourishes in well-draining soil and partial to full sun, requiring little care beyond planting. Beloved by pollinators, these early bloomers provide a vital nectar source, making them as beneficial as they are beautiful." - Ida

We lived in CA and a lot of bulbs wouldn’t return because they need a winter chill. But freesia and brodiaea always came back and I really enjoyed them!
