Honestly, a lot of small propagations from inch plants just look scraggly like that. The smaller strands that are dying probably just couldn’t put out roots fast enough, but the bigger strands look like their leaves are plumper so that probably means they have roots. If it is putting out new leaves on those longer pieces, I’d just keep doing what you’re doing. With time the plant will get bigger and start to look nicer

Hi, I've got one of these. They're a very fast growing trailing plant. Yours actually looks alright, just needs filling out a bit. I'd take some cuttings around 3-4 inches long right below a leaf node and make a small hole in the soil to put your cutting in and firm the soil down, do as many as you can and water well. They should grow fast. These are photos of mine. 1st pic was when I'd let it grown far too long, looking straggly. 2nd pic was after I'd removed the whole plant one stem at a time, snipped off the healthiest looking ends and put them back in the same pot and soil, topping it with fresh. 3rd pic is 2 weeks later, which shows how quickly they grow. Good luck.

I second what Tandra said. They are very easy to start and will fill in very fast

...and turn regularly as the leaves turn to the light 😊
