# Has anyone planted a Key Lime tree before? I was gifted some…

Has anyone planted a Key Lime tree before? I was gifted some seedlings from family in Florida 🌱  
I started with an enclosed Tupperware and damp cloth for two weeks which has sprouted tiny roots so today they’ve graduated to soil with some coffee grounds on top for compost. Keeping plastic wrap over the top to keep from drying out since it’s winter here in Wisconsin.

I’m a first time seedling planter! Any help is appreciated 🍋‍🟩🤗
