Filtered water like bottled water or from the fridge. I’m not sure about distilled. I use water from the fridge. I fill my can up the night before because of the water being cold and water next morning. Even half drunk bottles I pour on the babies.

Tap water kills plants due to the lime and chlorine content. I only use distilled or Zero water. Zero pitcher is the only one that removes all the bad stuff.
