# I have this little plant and it’s done by super well in the sunlight…

I have this little plant and it’s done by super well in the sunlight and it’s growing like crazy! but it’s getting super long and i’m wondering if i should buy a pole or support it or something? or should i just let it trail?? let me know your thoughts 🫶🏻✨

Do you have it indoors or outdoors? I have one and I want to do my best to keep it alive lol

Mine has always been outdoor. Even in the winter. Right now I need to prune it. Because it has some dead from the freeze weather we had in the overnight to morning. But other than that it’s fine. Her cousin my spider wort in the backyard. Is blooming.

Yours is so gorgeous! Such a lovely purple. What kind of lighting does it get there?

Usually it gets morning sun. About 3-6 hours depending on if we get fog.  
Spider wort in the backyard gets sun all day. This one anything more than 6 it burns.  
Winter it’s tricky. But it does get bright light most of the days. Unless it’s a day we are getting a bad storm. I also live in California.

They like to crawl, and the stems do eventually die as they grow longer. Another method is to take the ends when they get long and pin them back into the pot. So they can root. 😀

I gave up on mine and just let it take over a part of my yard after awhile. 😢

They grow so fast. Sometimes that’s the only option. 😩
