# Ulysses is doing so great but she mystifies me. A lot of those stems…

Ulysses is doing so great but she mystifies me. A lot of those stems seem to be barely rooted at all — I touched a couple about a week ago and they fell right over. I snipped off the bottom of the stems and put them back in the soil, assuming they’d shrivel up and die, but they’re still bright green and putting out new growth! How would I go about repotting a plant that hardly even seems to need soil? I don’t love the pot she came in from the nursery. I want to fertilize her at some point but I don’t want to upset any delicate balance she has going on.

(yes, Ulysses is a she)
