Mine is a bit lighter from being in direct sun. The flowers will tell. The flower buds are a distinctive olive green shade. It grows very fast for me and I just wrap it like a garden hose to keep it from hugging its neighbors. I’m in coastal South Texas. So, it gets lots of heat and humidity plus morning sun. Just watch the temperature to keep it warm. A hygrometer near the plants is helpful to track the temperature fluctuations and humidity levels like the freestanding one in the picture, as an example. Fertilize with 50% diluted liquid fertilizer twice a month.
