Hello, I watered this ages ago. I come up here every week to turn over the soil because it’s always damp still underneath. I assume it’s a humidifier problem, but it was originally in my room and it was dying due to lack of sunlight, then moved into sisters room where lots of sunlight but her room is prone to dampness… help 🤞🏻

This soil looks pretty heavy in organic material. If it’s staying too wet I’d add more drainage to the soil. Once you’ve found a good spot I’d keep it there. These guys like to drop leaves and be super dramatic when moved.

Yeah this plant has dropped like 3.. it was doing so well in summer then winter and it’s staying wet for long times. Will distributing pearlite throughout help ?

Perlite is great, you’ll probably need to do a full repot to get it evenly distributed though…
