I’ve been a… _Pubblicato da Jfran il 2024-07-14_ Hello - I’m new to Planta and I love the app so far. I’ve been a plant mom for awhile but my Thanksgiving cactus has always been a struggle. I finally started doing something right because it began to bloom and was beautiful. I repotted it for the first time in years and changed the pot and now the leaves just fall off. The photo with the blooms was April and the now this is what she looks like. I removed her from the bigger pot and put her in a little pot for what is left. I definitely did something wrong. I use to neglect it a little and only watered it about every 9 days but then Planta was saying like every 5 days so I started following that and leaves just started dropping. I am going to propagate the ones that came off yesterday. I’m just waiting 2 days for the ends to dry. I had to watch a YouTube video for that. So maybe I was watering it too often and maybe too much water. I’m hoping it will comeback but as you can see I lost a lot of stems. #### Riley ha risposto il 2024-07-14 5 days sounds way too often for a succulent of this size. I can usually get away with watering mine very small ones once a month. I suspect that the dropping leaves are from root rot. Planta’s schedule can be very different inaccurate, especially for certain kinds of plants. I always check to make sure the soil is completely dry before watering. Also, slightly unrelated, but congratulations on all the blooms! They look so beautiful! #### Jfran ha risposto il 2024-07-16 Thank you so much. I agree.
