# I really think that people who love plants should be cautious of…

_Publicado por LB el 2024-06-25_

I really think that people who love plants should be cautious of where their pots are coming from. I’ve seen so many people shopping for pots on SHEIN and temu or just using a lot of plastic pots, which are so bad for the environment. I just want to encourage y’all to think outside the box. Below are a couple plants and my current propagation projects. Instead of buying new glass wear for this I used thrifted salt and pepper shakers, used glass skincare bottles, an empty mason jar, and a used bath and body works candle. My point is you can help save our planet while saving money, and it’s a lot easier than you might think🫶 lots of love

I love this! I had to go through my house last night looking for things to use for my little props!

My decorative pots? Plants in it. Plastic containers empty in the house? Pots or humidity dome

Yes! I only buy pots second-hand. My local thrift stores have SO many. Ceramic, terra cotta, even tiny 1" plastic ones I use for succulent props, plus tons of cute items that can used for trays, stands, etc. Highly recommend to anyone to get a few diamond drill bits, check out thrift stores, and you can make anything into a cute pot haha.
