# I’m curious on when you guys repot your money trees. I’ve had mine…

I’m curious on when you guys repot your money trees.  
I’ve had mine since August 11th last year. I repotted it into fresh soil that day. It’s doing very well. I wasn’t sure when to repot it. With my other money trees I always respired too early. Should I wait till that year mark or should I do it when the soil gets bad?

Mine just got repotted maybe 3 weeks ago and is already send roots out of the bottom, but is still doing great!

How long had it been since the last repot?

This is the first time it has been potted. Before that I propagated it in water.

Yours looks so healthy! I repotted mine in Dec, after 2 years. I didn't upsize the pot, but instead gave the roots a good pruning. Its at work and I never fertilized it, so figured it definitely needed fresh soil. I've had it for over 4 years. But, I will say, it grew so much the first 2 years that I ended up repotting it into larger pots 3 times during that early time.

I put fertilizer in the soil back in August. Last watering I put the liquid fertilizer in it. A simple google search says every 2-3 years. On the repot. Mine is in indoor potting mix with extra perlite

Thank you 😊 it’s my third one. We are finally getting sun in California. So I’m hoping it’s just going to take off.
