# Hi all. I was bought a David Austin rose for an early birthday…

Hi all. I was bought a David Austin rose for an early birthday present. The rose arrived with dark marks on which is transport damage from being in the box. But some of the leaves seem dull and dry? There is new growth coming off so no issue there…just wondered if the dull leaves are a result of being transported?

The dull leaves are just due to underwatering / being without water for a while. They should perk up in a few weeks the same thing happened with my Gardena
