# Is it even possible to have a thriving “Mini Rose”? All the blooms…

Is it even possible to have a thriving “Mini Rose”?

All the blooms and buds will fall off any time it’s moved, and I have plenty of new growth but none are blooms. It’s 2 feet from a SW facing window and has a grow light on it most of the day. 12-14h.

I want it to be pretty and happy but I don’t know what she is asking for :(

I honestly don't think roses will grow very well indoors. I wanted to, and did a lot of research, but everything I read basically said roses can't be healthy indoors so I gave up.

Yeah I’m probably right there with you. Maybe I can keep her a live and gift her to someone with a yard so she can be happy.
