# Can we talk about ordering plants online…. 😒 How are y’alls staying…

Can we talk about ordering plants online…. 😒 How are y’alls staying alive? I’ve only ordered 3 and they’ve all come with root rot. They were all in transit for less than 4 days \& came well packaged in sphag moss. Is it because I live in Florida? Help 😭

I order plants online quite a lot and have never gotten one with root rot. Seems like it’s an issue with the shop

I’ve ordered a few to the Midwest that struggled with rot. They came SOAKED. Now, I request for them to not soak them before shipping. If they arrive very wet, they are repotted immediately.

Ohhhh, yeahhh, I always try to look up the company and look at reviews before buying plants. I’ve had good success with Canopy Plant Co., Ed’s Plant Shop and Steve’s Leaves

Canopy plant co and land of Alice on tiktok shop are both really great shops with great selection and really good quality plants

I tried doing this recently as I moved back to fl and lost a few plants in transition. I’ve ordered from here and had no problems my plant came beautifully packaged but I got an order from succulents and such and wrote the company because more then half of my plants came completely decapitated… and after trying to identify them I noticed more then half grow better outdoors…. I had bought a 12 pack of indoor grow plants with potting soil And they came in tiny pots when they were advertised as at least 2” pots… the company is trying to say I repotted them… like no this is what y’all sent me. And you should be ashamed

I order from a variety of shops in Etsy and I’ve never had a problem.

I order on Facebook buy pages and the seller (usually) really take good care with shipping because it’s their livelihood

I like BWH (Bros with Hoes) for online shopping. Never had any issues with their plants. 🪴

Try the green escape on Etsy! They’re based in Florida too so the shorter distance might help you, but I’m in PA and they always arrive to me in perfect health!
