I always do a big water after repot to let the soil settle (: I’ve had great success as long as the plants soil isn’t already wet

Yes always after a repot. We want the soil to be in contact with the roots. But it’s also a jaded question because it really depends on the plant, you’re set up, and what you consider watering the heck outta them is 🤣

I always water intill the soil is soaked and i have about half a cup coming out from the bottom of the pot. It always works great for all my tropical plants!!

After I re-pot i water thoroughly and leave it sitting in a bowl of water for 15 to 20 minutes just to make sure it's all soaked well. Then just don't water too often afterwards.

Idk I’m an overwatering fool so I try to just water them until it’s dripping out of the bottoms and then check the soil with a stick the next day and see if they need more that way I’m not watering them too much and stressing them more then repotting them does already. It seems to work best that way for me, I have one of those things that tells you the water level and air humidity the temperature etc. but I prefer the handy sticks I got at the dollar store.
