So I’m trying to fix up my front yard. I have a space in front my window that about 3’x12’ and I want a dessert landscape vibe. I don’t necessarily want to plant on the ground, I prefer in pots/planters. Any design ideas or plants you like that would be ideal. Zone 9.

I’m in 9b- My string of bananas thrived outside. There’s so many echevarria varieties, jade plants do well outside too

You could create some sort of rock garden, using potted plants but also large rocks, river pebbles, some ground cover planted in the soil (not my house, but a cool example!)
