Any tips on caring for a basil plant? This is my first one and it’s been quite the journey. It grew tall super fast and now has been falling over. I have some tied to a stick but it’s still leaning a lot \& the leaves just always look sad. I’ve had it inside and outside and it’s the same, I’m going to put it in a bigger pot but not sure that will help….

I’d keep the pot but increase the sunlight

I’ve killed every basil that’s come into my home. I can keep my calathea white fusion alive easier than a basil plant lol 🤷🏼‍♂️

Maybe a slightly bigger pot, more sunlight and some fertiliser will help.

You’d want to search this but I wonder if you chop the top a bit of it would branch out more? I know a lot of plants do this but not sure about basil…?????

repot may help. try chopping \& propping, worked for me!

What is the best to prop this one? Did you do water or put it directly into the soil? Or something else?

directly in water. took about 3 weeks for my cuttings to root, and i put them in the same pot as the mother plant.
