Hello everyone!
I’m looking to add more plants to my house but I don’t have a lot of natural light that comes in. What plants would you recommend for a space like this?
(Edit\* I forgot to mention I also have cats who like to chew on my plants.🙃)
Thank you any advice is helpful!!

Snake plants thrive in many environments, I left one in my closet (don't ask) and i just took it out and it's still living.

Ferns do well. Ficus can handle it. You might try orchids if you want some color (any orchid that naturally grows from the middle to understory of a forest should handle lower light well. Paphs or jewel orchids are good picks for a rookie)

Zz. Pothos. Snake plant. My spider plants do well with not a lot of light. My philodendron is doing good too with not a lot of light. Zz and Pothos are the ones I have at my office that doesn’t get any real sunlight.

There are some great panel lights you can stick under shelving to add light, here’s my set up with them there also some great plant lights that just screw into your regular light sockets

Pellionia pulchra or repens! Also known as rainbow vine or watermelon begonia. Low light tolerant AND pet safe! 🐱

I’m mildly obsessed with pellionia pulchra. It also works great in a terrarium.
