# Hi, wondering if anyone could advise how to bring my orchid back to…

Hi, wondering if anyone could advise how to bring my orchid back to life? I have tried replanting a couple times with special orchid soil and followed the care instructions on Planta. Seems like it just doesn’t want to grow.

They like a small pot, but they also like to breathe, so definitely make sure that they’re not over watered inside their pot and that the orchid bark inside isn’t moldy. I had to repot my orchid a couple times when I was lazy about giving it proper drainage and was able to get it back to bounce back. Now it’s doing fantastically.

Thank you, I will try that. I have it sitting in water now to root. I found out the roots had dried up and died. Not sure if I’m doing the right thing with getting it to root in water?
