# Update: last year I bought a Boston Fern from Lowe’s that soon…

Update: last year I bought a Boston Fern from Lowe’s that soon started to look like it was dying. I took it out of its pot \& separated it into 2 as it looked root-bound (learned that term here!). Through the (Florida) winter they looked like the first photo, \& I wasn’t sure if it would come back or not as I am a new plant parent (started last year!) but now I have two lush ferns! It’s so rewarding 🥰

Wow what a comeback!! That's so amazing for me as i can't keep any fern alive. But i live in a very dry and mostly cold climate so i think thats part of the reason.
