# Hi guys! I’m looking for some advice for my variegated string of…

Hi guys! I’m looking for some advice for my variegated string of pearls. About a year ago I had sworn off any string of things because I kept killing them but I finally feel like I’m a little more advanced at growing plants and decided to give them another try. I originally had this plant hanging in the window but I don’t think the top of the plant was getting enough light. Does this look like enough light now? It is a west facing window so it gets bright afternoon sun. She’s definitely has new growth on the strands but the top of the plant has thinned out quite a bit. Thanks!

It would probably like more light, especially being variegated. Also, the strings of things like a good trim. It lets them become bushy and grow back stronger.Your plant is beautiful regardless though you’re doing great so far!!

It looks great! I’ve been intrigued to get one of these!

When you trim don’t you propagate and then plant them back in pot to make it fuller? I think I read that somewhere.
