My friend gifted me this plant for Christmas, but I have no idea what it is or how to propogate it. What should I do?

Are these two leaves? Can you ask your friend what is it?

I used a plant identifier and turns out it's a Queen of the Night cactus

It’s a queen of the night, for sure. Clean off the dirt. Cut off the black rot. Disinfect everything from the plant to the tools and hands with hydrogen peroxide. Roots appear along the cut edges and along the spine.

Let the cut quality sections dry out a few hours. No need to wait for a full callous to appear. These are jungle cactus that need more water than sand cactus. Treat it like a hoya. Both like tree and rock climbing while living in the tropics. Their roots are minimal compared to other houseplants. Use a tropical fast dry mix of part succulent mix with chunky bits like perlite and coco coir/small orchid bark for the soil. Avoid moss like peat moss which stays too wet causing rot.

Put the largest piece in a 4 inch pot with the new soil mix. Water once to saturate the soil mix. Let the soil dry before watering again.

Place in a warm location with bright indirect light. Natural filtered light from a south or west window is better or use a grow light.

Fertilize once a month with diluted fertilizer. The leaves will plump back up when it’s healthy and have roots to take in water and nutrients. 🪴🍀
