# My succulents that I potted in an arrangement last week seem to be…

My succulents that I potted in an arrangement last week seem to be drying out? I did leave them outside in the rain for a day… could it be from over watering? They all seem to be browning and are mushy…The purple one used to be green and is also mushy now. I’ve never had good luck with succulents what am I doing wrong!

I have a ton of aloe outside and during the winter they got super mushy because it was too cold, I don’t know if that’s the case, but the arrangement looks beautiful! Good luck!

I just put them out there last week I’m in Tucson AZ where the high rn is 75 …

One day in the rain won’t hurt them at that temp. One thing I have learned in my Master Gardner courses is the importance of NOT overcrowding and proper airflow. Make sure it dries up from the rain before watering it again. The sun should help fix the problem. So many succulents die from overwatering but mine stay outside all summer and it rains here a lot.

It might be to much water just don’t let it get wet again

I think the plant itself does not like to get wet so when water it just wet the dirt
