My ficus elastica burgundy randomly has leaves do this then drop. The plant seems healthy and happy, consistently is growing new leaves, but I’m new to this plant and don’t know if this is just normal shedding per se (I know that’s not the proper term for it lol) or what is going on. Only one leaf at a time does this, roughly once every 1-2 weeks

If your getting new leaves each time then it’s just older leaves shedding off. Nothing to worry about. If you don’t see any pest you are good

It is normal. My rubber plant does that too. They are just letting go of the old leaves because so many new ones pop up!
