I got this plant a couple weeks ago and it had some dried and brownish leaves, but now I feel like there’s more dried leaves. What do I do? It normally sits up high in my bathroom by my light. Does it need to be watered more regularly, misted, moved farther from the light? (In the first two pics it’s wet because I tried giving it a good mist

There is usually enough humidity in a bathroom that misting is not necessary. The water droplets from misting are too big and only wets down the plant. You need to be careful of mold and other fungal buildup due to water sitting on the leaves too long.

Dropped leaves can come from adjusting to the new home, insufficient light and/or insufficient water. I would look at the lighting location, intensity, and frequency on the light spectrum.

You need grow light bulbs in the bathroom fixtures to have any effect on growing plants. The bulbs need to be labeled full spectrum. Plants need frequencies outside the visible spectrum that human sees or they won’t grow. I would normally suggest replacing the bulbs with grow light bulbs. But, they won’t affect the plants much from that distance, greater than a foot, and from that fixture which is not focusing the light towards the plant. It’s designed to scatter light around the room. I recommend putting a grow light right above the plant. Then, you can place it anywhere in the house especially if a humidifier is near it. 🪴🍀
