My biggest tip is to check the soil before you water to make sure it's actually dry.

Use chunky soil mixes when you repot and only move a plant into a new pot when 80% of the pot is filled with roots. Also only go up 1 to 2 inches in pot size to prevent root rot.

Use good soil and fertilizer. Sometimes you have to move a plant to a new location to find its happy spot.

Also, don’t get discouraged when plants get dramatic or they get pests. It happens to everybody! Read about it, try things and as time goes on, you’ll become a pro.

Don’t over water , replace water in glass every week , fertilize monthly
