# Is anyone else lean towards orchid pots more rather than the others?!…

Is anyone else lean towards orchid pots more rather than the others?! I think these are awesome especially for seeing the moisture left in the soil. Granted I do have to water a little more often due to the more irrigation slits on the side but I don’t mind I tend to my plants quite often.🤷🏻‍♂️

I saw a girl on tiktok who also does this with all of her plants \& swears by it!

A lot of people stuck to orchid pots but they often use the ones with the slits on the side not this one with the obsessive drainage on the bottom but I love it honestly cause I don’t mind having to tend to my plants more often busy people I wouldn’t recommend this one

Someone once said that roots can synthesize sunlight, so if they can get some light they’re gonna make the plant healthier.

I kind of agree with that, because I had put an amaryllis bulb into a takeout soup container, the tall kind you would get for wonton soup, and the bulb just ate it up the fact that the sun could get to the roots through it out through it all

My tiger Lilly I just put it in a cup and kept it moist it’s start to crack op after a little over a week

I definitely always rather underwater than over water and this does great with drainage

I love clear pots!! And more drainage is almost always better. I also have hydroponics pots that I like for semi-hydro setups. It’s really nice to be able to pull the plant out of the water reservoir and look at the roots without leca flying everywhere lol
