# Here I am, asking for help again 😩 my philo golden melinonii is…

Here I am, asking for help again 😩 my philo golden melinonii is sick. The tagged pic is from March 19th and all was good. But today not so much. The planta diagnosis suggests overwatering or a fertilizer issue.. but care hasn’t changed.. no pests detected and no other changes.. any ideas??

It almost looks like pest damage though 😬

That’s what I thought, but I didn’t find anything and believe I searched several times.. and in the Planta diagnosis it didn’t even come back as a probability

Yeah, it looks fishy to me though, like possible early spider mite damage, they are hard to see with the naked eye and can only see the webbing that they produce as they multiply later, but the stippling and the yellowing leaf idk

The website The Spruce has a good article titled “4 Early Signs of Spider Mites to Look Out For” and some of the pictures they provide look like yours

Digging around Reddit too this is what I found and it looks like the same type of leaf problems

I did isolate and planned to put some of those insecticide granules in the soil. Thanks for the heads up on the spruce.. I use them all the time!

Okay good, yeah definitely do that and give the leaves a good wipe down with a mix of alcohol, dish soap and water, yeah of course
