For people who plant shop online, what is your favorite online store? Where I’m from in NY doesn’t have many plant nurseries aside from big box stores like Lowe’s, Walmart, or Home Depot

I’ve only ever ordered from carnivorous plant nursery website and the green escape on Etsy both went well just make sure to get a heat pack if it’s cold.

Steve's Leaves is in TX, Canopy Plants is in LA, but by far best shipping and super great plants. Most of the local ones are the carnivorous plants. I haven't gotten shipped, but Seattle plant Daddy has amazing plants and prices too.

For winter shipping, be sure to use a heat pack, as earlier recommended, AND expedited shipping! I usually get 2 day expedited shipping, because it’s less than the overnight shipping, which is really expensive…🤑!Even though it’s been super cold lately, I have had several plants come in great condition using those two parameters. Good luck!

Definitely looks for heat pack and insulation. Winter shipping. Whatever they choose to call it. I get real irritated when people only offer the pack in freezing weather, because if the boxes temp drops below freezing, heat packs stop chemically working. Steve's leaves has a specific upgrade for winter shipping, that includes FedEx, which I'd the company ships FedEx, that the top notch. As they keep live items in temp controlled as they move around

We just ordered a ton from Canopy plant co (seconding all the above recco’s!) but also from BWH Plant Co out of Florida and we’re very happy!

I haven't tried BWH yet, they have nice plants on they're IG though
