# Is it normal for Chinese money plants to be putting out so many…

Is it normal for Chinese money plants to be putting out so many leaves? I have about 5 plants in one pot and they’ve been putting out anywhere from 3-12 leaves per WEEK. Sometimes 3 leaves from one stem at once. I’ve never had this plant prior to this and I expected it to be super delayed for a bit as I just repotted it and I had to seperate some pups that were super entangled with the mother plant.

To me it just sounds like it’s super happy and loves your environment probably loved the pot upgrade too lol

That sounds good to me! I just get worried cause I bought this plant when my mom passed and all the recent growth made me panic that it’s trying to compensate cause something is wrong with it lol

Oh no not at all, you’re doing all the right things for it to be happy. I’m so sorry for your loss, I hope taking care of plants helps you find some comfort

Ahahaha you’ve figured out why it’s called the friendship plant! It grows fast so you can pawn them off to your buds 😆
