It depends on where you live. I've found nice plants in big box stores like Home Depot and Lowes. I've also found very good plants at local nurseries. Hope that helps.

i’ve heard people like the app palmstreet. i like etsy when it comes to buying plants online, however there are some sketchy sellers so i have to do some research before buying. i also found a local nursery that does online orders, you can google “online nursery (your area)” and they should pop up :)

I use Tanner the Planter a lot. They have live sales on Tuesday and Saturdays. They also talk about each plant that they are showing that day. You can join them on Facebook.

The Nursery Project USA is on Palmstreet and they are awesome.

I like BWH and Gabrielle plants as far as online shops 😊

If you live near Puyallup, WA (USA), I would suggest Watsons. Got my first SOP there.
Otherwise, Lowe’s is also a good place to get plants (or rescue them!).

If you live near a Lowe’s they usually have good plants

Lowe’s usually has “distressed” plants that are half off and are typically just dying for water. It’s a good place to get a cheap plant to start
