Starting to rethink buying this plant because I'm such a novice with house plants :(
I've been moving this plant around to make sure it gets enough light - moved to front of house but noticed the leaves are cracking. I water every couple weeks and have been misting and today put a humidifier near by. Any suggestions to turns things around here?

It looks pretty healthy - are you referring to the ripped leaf?

Yes at the bottom

You can trim off that spot or trim the whole leaf off. My fiddle fig has a similar looking leaf and aside from that it’s loving life.

I also move my plants all over the place, this one has been in several spots until I settled on its current location

Plop her right in front of a window and just let her relax. They like to stay in one spot. Let her go almost dry btwn waterings. She’ll be fine, she’s just settling in. I have 1 ripped leaf and it’s in the center, I just leave it but you can remove

I was about to say they are very sensitive so once you find a spot plant it🤭 😂
