# Hi! I’m a beginner, this is my first plant. A lady told me this was a…

Hi! I’m a beginner, this is my first plant. A lady told me this was a good beginner plant, so I got it. I’ve heard peace lilies are low maintenance, but just in case there’s something else I should know please let me know. My mother has MANY plants she takes care of, she said I should water it every ten days, keep it in good lighting and that’s it. Again, any tips are greatly appreciated! :)

They will go crazy if you provide enough humidity, keep a few inches from a window

I try not to water on a schedule, because I’ve found that it usually leads of overwatering. Peace lilies are very easy because they will droop a little bit when they are thirsty, and bounce back from under watering very quickly.

Agreed. Mine always lets me know when she needs water. She gets droopy and then when I do water her it just a few hours and she stands back k up.
