• Orchids (can stay in bloom for 5 months)  
• Hoyas  
• Anthurium lily  
• Christmas/Thanksgiving/Easter cactus (super easy and mine blooms twice a year)

zygo is another interchangeable term for the thanksgiving/christmas cactus (which is actually an epiphyte)

Berberis Orange Sunrise is so cool and would add a lot of colour to your surroundings! Unsure if it’s pet friendly though.
