Also keep cutting to make it branch even more so it has the desired amount of branches in the right directions to give a shape that resembles the picture. I would definitely look up bonsai wiring techniques as well. I'm debating on when to start it. I know pruning is best in Spring, however, I don't get freezing Temps where I am so I'm not sure if it would matter if I prune this time of year or not.
