The first shoot pushed out and grew to its full height in the space of a month. However, the second shoot has been stalled ever since then and has only grew out maybe a 1/4 inch. At first I thought it was just the other shoot taking energy from it, but now I’m not sure if it just needs a repot to grow further. It pushed out a new, lovely, full sized leaf — and two significantly smaller, puny leaves. I damaged some rhizomes in early spring (literally stabbed them trying to aerate the soil lol 🤪 you live, you learn) and as a result it dropped 3 leaves before it started pushing out these new ones… based on this (and the fact that personally I wouldn’t be able to resist just getting it over with and seeing what happens 🤪) I’m thinking a repot could solve your problems if you think its current rhizomes are all jammed up in their pot #### Alyssa svarte den 2024-07-29 Ah bummer, lol omg, yeahhh that would be so annoying trying to help the plant and then it get smashed lol 😬😄ugh hopefully yours starts producing some better leaves for you soon Haha true, no use waiting around when getting in there and seeing things for yourself is way more satisfying. 😂 thanks for the advice and the encouragement boost to just do it lol #### Alyssa svarte den 2024-07-29 Repotted! The rhizomes were definitely smooshed in the tiny little pot it was in and the roots were trying to find a way out lol, hopefully it’ll be happier now #### eatyacarbs svarte den 2024-07-29 Ok with that evidence I’m like…98% confident that was the issue.
