# What’s happening with my Anthurium plant, I see yellow and brown…

What’s happening with my Anthurium plant, I see yellow and brown leaves and they slowly fall off. I water them weekly once with 6 ice cubes as directed. Did not repot it yet, it’s been only a month since I got it. Right now, I have it on a north facing window trim. Can someone help with recommendations on how to save this plant.

Don’t listen to the apps watering schedule it can be incredibly incorrect, look at its roots, it could have root rot as anthurium roots are really sensitive, also you don’t need to water with ice cubes, just use rain water instead

Rather than watering on a schedule, check the soil. These guys don’t like to dry out completely, so the soil should just be slightly moist before watering

Also, don’t use ice cubes! I think companies just say that so people kill their plants and buy another one 😅 Roots don’t like cold!

I agree about the ice cubes. Where do these plants find ice cubes in their natural tropical environment?😂
